With ongoing progress into Nim's village simulator, Migration based in the Chronicles of Fate world, I wanted to share a bit of a progress and ideas I've been implementing. Above I've thrown in the first draft of the new intro video and below a few details of whats coming.
Being a village managing game you'll be in charge of the restoration of an enigmatic ruin and the surrounding village. Starting small by handling fishing, farming, mining and other resource collections to build new buildings, accept more migrants for production and craft gear all in hopes of surviving an attack from ever skulking Ravenous of the Shroud.
Thus far the main map and several buildings and systems have been programmed into the game with meal creation using a few resources gathered through fishing for sunfish, perch and bass (so far) and/or farming for vegetables and livestock of course :)
The battle system is coming along now as well with the intention of hire-able Scouts and Rangers to assist in combat and special abilities based on a custom leveling system. This is to allow for the eventual integration of a dungeon and Ravenous Lair to go on the offensive and slay those attacking every night,
